This character was inspired by a real kid and was originally created for a commission. Sometimes, when a project leaves me wanting to explore a bit more, I like to bring extra life to the designs—creating a small lineup, imagining a story, or even animating them. In this case, I wanted to share the full *turnaround* process, made entirely in **Clip Studio Paint EX**. I started with a loose sketch to define attitude and proportions, then refined the *lineart*, added *flats* to set the palette, and finally worked on lights and shadows to give it volume and presence. My goal was to keep consistency across the views and capture a bit of the energy of the original character.
